Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Crystal Identifier: Rock & Gem mobile application (the "App"), published by Yixin Network Technology (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the Apple App Store.
Identification Results Are Informational
The App uses artificial intelligence to estimate the likely identity and properties of rocks, crystals, minerals, and gemstones from photos. Results are provided for general informational and educational purposes only and may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are not professional appraisal, gemological certification, geological, financial, medical, or safety advice. Do not rely on the App for decisions about the value, authenticity, safety, or handling of any specimen, and do not ingest, inhale, or apply any material based on App results. For anything important, consult a qualified professional.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the App or any part of it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- use the identification service in an automated, bulk, or abusive manner, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures;
- use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds
The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("Crystal Pro"), billed weekly ($3.99) or yearly ($16.99), that unlock unlimited identifications and additional features. Prices may vary by region and over time, and the current price is always shown in the App before you purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
All payments and refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies. We do not process payments ourselves and cannot issue refunds, because we have no access to the transaction. To request a refund, contact Apple through your App Store account.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of identification results, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any identification will be correct.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App or reliance on any identification result. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid through the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated Terms at this page and revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
