How do I identify a specimen?
Tap the camera button, photograph the stone in good light against a plain background (fill most of the frame), and the app returns its best identification in a few seconds.
How accurate is it?
The app uses AI and is right most of the time, but results are estimates for general and educational use, not a professional appraisal or gemological certification. For anything valuable or safety-related, confirm with a qualified expert.
What does Crystal Pro unlock?
Unlimited identifications plus the full collection and extra features. It's an auto-renewable subscription ($3.99 / week or $16.99 / year). Use Restore Purchases in Settings if you switch devices, and manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
Are my photos kept private?
A photo you identify is sent securely to our service and AI provider only to produce the result, and is not stored on our servers afterward. Anything you save stays locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Why do I have a limited number of free tries?
Identification uses a paid AI service, so free use is limited. Subscribe to Crystal Pro for unlimited identifications.
